Class Title: 1911 Pistol Instructor Course
Description: This course will cover loading, unloading, press-checking, malfunctions, and speed/tactical reloads for the 1911 pistol. This class will also cover the two most critical aspects of operating the 1911, the grip and thumb safeties. This course is designed for currently certified firearms instructors, and will certify them to teach the 1911 style handgun. This class will also certify non-instructors to carry the 1911 style pistol.

Class Title: Patrol Officers Response to Street Drugs
Description: The Patrol Officers Response to Street Drugs is a 5 day course that is broken down into the following instruction blocks: drug abuse recognition system using pupilometer cards and pupil lights, drug physiology and pharmacology, drug identification and methods of use, recognition of drug signs and symptoms, drug paraphernalia, dangers of confronting subjects under the influence, legal issues and coverage of all areas of warrantless searches, clandestine lab recognition and drug distribution techniques. Lunch will be provided by MCTC for all students.

Class Title: Crime Scene and Crash Scene Diagramming
Description: This course will cover measuring and diagramming of Crime Scenes and Crash Scenes, using computer- aided software (CADZONE). The student will gain hands on experience in measuring several simulated crime scenes and crash scenes. Use of total station technology as well as tapes and reference points are learned. The data gained will be used to complete 3D and animated drawings in the computer lab environment. This course is designed for Collision and Major Crimes investigators as well as forensic personnel. Skills gained can be used to prepare quality courtroom presentations.

Description: This one day skills course will be an introduction to ballistic breaching techniques for both field operators and SWAT members. Position, placement, effects and mechanics of ballistic breaching on exterior and interior doors, chains and padlocks, iron security bars, and other entry challenges will be covered. Various commercial breaching munitions will be demonstrated as well as alternative munitions. Class presented by AIMPRO.
